Die Geschichte des Stadtkrugs ist seit über 150 Jahren fest in der Region Hallein verwurzelt. Am Bayrhamerplatz, mitten in der Altstadt, wurde hier über Generationen hinweg aufgetischt, angestoßen und gefeiert.
Heute führt Familie Frank das Haus weiter — und bringt eine zweite Herkunft mit. Was in Salzburg gewachsen ist, trifft bei uns auf die kräftige, gastfreundliche Küche Ungarns. Beides steht gleichberechtigt auf der Karte, weil beides zu uns gehört.
The story of the Stadtkrug has been firmly rooted in the Hallein region for over 150 years. Here on Bayrhamerplatz, in the middle of the old town, generations have laid the table, raised a glass and celebrated.
Today the Frank family carries the house forward — and brings a second heritage with them. What grew up in Salzburg meets the bold, generous cooking of Hungary. Both stand equally on the menu, because both belong to us.
A Stadtkrug története több mint 150 éve szilárdan gyökerezik a halleini régióban. Itt, a Bayrhamerplatzon, az óváros közepén nemzedékek terítettek asztalt, koccintottak és ünnepeltek.
Ma a Frank család viszi tovább a házat — és egy második származást is magával hoz. Ami Salzburgban nőtt fel, itt találkozik Magyarország erőteljes, vendégszerető konyhájával. Mindkettő egyenrangúan szerepel az étlapon, mert mindkettő hozzánk tartozik.

Die Zwiebelmarmelade zum Burger, der Dip zur Platte, die Zucchinilaibchen für den Veggie Burger, das Knoblauchbaguette zur Dip-Platte: All das entsteht in unserer Küche, nicht im Großhandel.
Dasselbe gilt für die Klassiker. Das Wiener Schnitzel kommt vom Kalb, das Gulasch bekommt die Zeit, die es braucht, und der Kaiserschmarrn wird erst gemacht, wenn Sie ihn bestellen.
The onion jam for the burger, the dip for the platter, the courgette patties for the veggie burger, the garlic baguette for the dip board: all of it is made in our kitchen, not bought in.
The same goes for the classics. The Wiener Schnitzel is veal, the goulash gets the time it needs, and the Kaiserschmarrn isn't started until you order it.
A hamburgerhez való hagymalekvár, a tálhoz járó mártogatós, a vegetáriánus burger cukkinifasírtja, a mártogatós tál fokhagymás bagettje: mindez a mi konyhánkban készül, nem a nagykereskedésben.
